Figure Weights Test
Each item shows one or more balanced scales. Every shape of a kind weighs the same, and the balanced scales tell you how the weights compare: if a square balances two circles, a square weighs twice a circle. The last scale has shapes on one pan and a question mark on the other. Pick the set of shapes that would balance it.
30 items, getting harder: more scales, more kinds of shape, and at the top scales that cannot be read one at a time and have to be combined. You have 20 minutes for the whole test, so pace yourself: an item you cannot crack is better guessed than sat on. There is no penalty for a wrong answer, and items left when time runs out count as wrong. Your time is recorded too, so both how many you got right and how fast you worked are reported. Work it out in your head: no pen and paper, since the test is meant to load your memory as well as your reasoning, and the scores are only comparable if everyone does it the same way.
Items are drawn from a larger pool, so two people rarely see the same set and a retake is a fresh test rather than a memory check.

Two optional questions, asked once: your age and sex let the results be broken down by who took the test.
Sex as at birth; gender as you identify. Languages you grew up speaking; several are fine, separated by commas. Leave blank anything you would rather not say.
