Generic Conspiracist Beliefs Scale
The Generic Conspiracist Beliefs Scale (Brotherton, French & Pickering, 2013) measures the general tendency to believe in conspiracy theories without naming any particular one. 15 statements about governments, elites, science and information; rate how likely each is to be true on a 5-point scale. The total score is the intended measure; the five 3-item facets are shown for interest. Percentiles are from the scale's validation sample of 235 UK university students (78% female, mean age 25), so they describe a young, mildly skeptical population rather than the general public.

Two optional questions, asked once: your age and sex let the results be broken down by who took the test.
Sex as at birth; gender as you identify. Languages you grew up speaking; several are fine, separated by commas. Leave blank anything you would rather not say.
