Paper Folding Test
45 questions · 20 minutes
Right +1 · Wrong −1/4 · Not answered 0
Each question shows a square sheet of paper being folded, and then holes punched through it. Dashed lines show where the sheet was before the fold; solid lines are the sheet as it is now. Pick the sheet (A to E) that shows where the holes are once the paper is unfolded again.
An example: The answer is C. Unfolded, the sheet looks like this (dotted: the folds):
Later questions punch holes at different stages: on the flat sheet, between folds, or after the last fold. A hole punched early goes through fewer layers, and it is not drawn again in the later pictures: it is still there, so remember it. Here the answer is B:
The questions get harder as you go, and few people reach the end. A wrong answer costs 1/4 point, as in the original test, so blind guessing gains nothing on average; if you can rule out some of the answers, a guess among the rest is still worth it.

Two optional questions, asked once: your age and sex let the results be broken down by who took the test.
Sex as at birth; gender as you identify. Languages you grew up speaking; several are fine, separated by commas. Leave blank anything you would rather not say.
