Authoritarianism Scales (RWA + LWA)
This test combines two well-known measures of authoritarianism:
The Right-Wing Authoritarianism (RWA) scale by Bob Altemeyer (23 items) measures conventionalism, authoritarian submission, and authoritarian aggression.
The Left-Wing Authoritarianism (LWA) index by Costello et al. (2022) (39 items) measures anti-hierarchical aggression, anti-conventionalism, and top-down censorship.
62 items on a 7-point agree/disagree scale. Items from both scales are intermixed.

Two optional questions, asked once: your age and sex let the results be broken down by who took the test.
Sex as at birth; gender as you identify. Languages you grew up speaking; several are fine, separated by commas. Leave blank anything you would rather not say.
