Spelling Test
Each question shows four words. One of them may be misspelled: pick it. If all four are spelled correctly, pick None of the above. There is never more than one misspelled word.
Sixteen of the questions are the spelling test of Project Talent, the 1960 study that tested some 440,000 American high-school students; your percentile against the students of 1960 is from those sixteen. The other 9, mixed in among them, are new questions drawn at random from a larger pool; your total out of 25 counts them too, and is compared with this site's other takers.
Spelling is American, as in the original. About 3 minutes; no time limit. Please don't look words up: the point is what you know.
