Average scores of this site's takers by country, from the internet address each test was taken from. These are not national samples: they are the people in each country who found this site and chose to take a test, and who they are differs from country to country, so a country's number says as much about its takers as about its population.

Language bias check
The tests are in English. How much lower (or higher) continental Western Europeans score than people in English-speaking countries, in standard deviations, with a 95% interval: a test that does not depend on English should show about the same gap as the others, while the English tests show what bias looks like. English-speaking: US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland. Other Western: EU and EFTA countries, the microstates and Israel.
Method
Each test's scores (a person's first attempt; the ability estimate on an adaptive test) are turned into z-scores over all of the site's takers, averaged by country with a standard error, and a country's tests are combined weighting each by the inverse of its variance. The result is put on the IQ scale with the United Kingdom at 100 and 15 points per standard deviation of the site's takers, the convention of the national IQ literature. A test counts for a country only with at least 5 of its people. Many people take several tests, so the intervals, which treat the tests as independent, are somewhat too narrow.
Nonverbal: . Left out: the verbal parts of ICAR, the adaptive ICAR (it mixes verbal items in) and the UK Biobank test (verbal). Mechanical reasoning reads as English prose but is in: the bias check shows it about as fair to continental Europeans as the figure tests.
